Empties #2

Greetings from the Dark Side!

I haven't finished many products in the past two months, and sometimes if I did, I threw away the packaging. But I have a few empties to share with you all~ I like doing this type of post because I can show you what I have used up, and also give you a mini review of the products :D

1. Gelous Nail Gel Coat
This is the product I use at my top coat. I used to use Seche Vite, but I think this product is much better. It has a very shiny and jelly finish. It is not the fastest drying top coat, but I prefer how it looks with this one. I especially recommend this for those time when you use glitter or anything that has a rough texture because this smooths it down really nicely! I already repurchased it :)

2. Artistry mascara
I used this mascara a lot in May. It has a really smash brush and the formula was neither too dry or too moist. It's not my favorite, but it was a good mascara, especially for the lower lashes. I would not repurchase it though, since it was not that great on my lashes. It did not give them a lot of length or volume.

3. Maybelline Illegal Length mascara
This mascara is good for everyday, not too dramatic lashes. It gave my lashes a lot more length, but it did lack in the volumizing department. This is not my favorite drugstore mascara, but I would repurchase it.

5.Revlon Precision Lash Glue
I LOVE this stuff! Best eye lash glue EVER. I hate DUO lash glue because of the smell, and this one has no smell. It also has a much better adhesion that the DUO glue. When I use this, my lashes stay put for hours! I already repurchased it~

6. Lioele Triple the Solution BB Cream
This is my second tube of this BB cream, and I think it has already become an essential in my makeup collection. It is a really great BB  cream. It offers better coverage than most BB creams, but it is not as heavy as a foundation. This particular BB cream is also darker than most, since it looks a tiny bit dark on me. But regardless, the color blends in really well, so even if it's a little darker or a bit lighter it still looks fine. I will definitely repurchase this in the future (I have a few other foundations I want to use first).

Pretty much all the products I used up are essential products I use all the time. I also used up some skin care and hair care products, but like I said, I threw away the packaging and I can't remember what it was that I used @_@ Hehe, my bad.

Have you tried any of these products? If you have, what do you think of them? If you haven't, would you like to try them?

  4. I believe the green capped Gelous is technically a base coat, but I agree that it works wonders with glittery topcoats! I have been going through mine faster than I thought I would be, but I would much rather use that than have to use 4 coats of some other top coat. I cannot stand gritty nails! LOL!

    1. You're right! I don't like it as a base coat though. And yes! I worked wonders for those gritty polishes. I like my nails smooths ;D
