EOTD: Eyes of March #5 [03/25/2011]

Last night, I had a blast at a party that my friends and I had. We have been having a lot of fun during our spring break, so it only seemed right to throw a small party to mark the ending of this week. Since it was a party, why not do a darker makeup look? The pictures are kind of bad, since I took them at night. But I will shown you anyways ^_^ Here is the look: A smokey look~
Can you see the multi colored shimmer?

What Products I used:
~Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy [Review on this 'HERE']
~Fyrinnae 'Pumpkinfire' eyeshadow [Black base with multi colored shimmer, prominent orange shimmer]
~Fyrinnae 'Crimson Ghost' eyeshadow [A white with a reflect of red]
~Urban Decay 24/7 liner in 'Zero'
~CoverGirl Lash Blash Fusion Mascara

How to achieve this look: Simple!
~Apply 'Pumpkinfire' on the lid and on the lower lash line
~Apply 'Crimson Ghost' on the crease, blending out the lid color
~You can also put 'Crimson Ghost' on the inner corner of the eye
~Apply eye liner on the water line and on the upper lash line
~Apply mascara

Voila! You are done. Very simple, right?

Thank you all for reading, and thanks to all of those who comment! You are all very sweet :D

FOTD: Eyes of March #4 [03/20/2011]

 Hii lovelies <3

Since I was going to go a party, I did a look worth posting. I just took some hasty pictures before leaving out the door, and it has been raining all day, so the pictures might be terrible. I apologize beforehand :]
Here is the look:
Im not sure if you can tell, but it is a double winged liner look. The top, is my usual liquid liner and the bottom is eyeshadow that was winged out.

What I used for the Eyes:
~Urban Decay Primer Potion
~Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy [I will do a review on this soon]
~MAC Quad 'Colour 3' in 'Bruised Plum' and 'Black Tulip'
~L'oreal Lineur Intense liquid liner
~CoverGirl Lash Blast Fusion

How to achieve this look:
~Apply primer to the entire lid.
~Apply Pixie Epoxy to the lid as well as the lower lash line [extra step, not really required]
~Apply 'Bruised Plum,' a shimmery pink purple color, to the entire lid blending outwards slightly
~Apply liquid eyeliner to the top lash line, and wing it out slightly
~With a angled brush, apply 'Black Tulip, a shimmer medium purple, to the outer half of your bottom lash line.
~Wing out the purple on the bottom, making the wing longer than the top one.
~Apply 'Bruised Plum' on the inner half of the bottom lash line
See? The lid is just one color. And the liner is winged out a bit.
Can you see how the lower wing is slightly longer than the one on the top?

What I used on my Face and Lips
~Lioele Triple the Solution BB Cream
~MAC 'Well Dressed' Blush
~Tokidoki Gelato Lip Balm Stain 'Donutella'  [Review on this 'HERE']

And your done!
Of course, you can always do this eye look without using any eye shadow on the lid, and going with a bolder color on the lower lash line. Or use an eye liner instead of an eye shadow. Do anything you wish!~
I see you <3

Thank you for reading! And I hope you all had a wonderful weekend~

FOTD: Eyes of March #3 [03/12/2011]

Just a quick face of the day. Mostly for the eyes though. This is not exactly an "everyday" look, but I like to have fun with colors once in a while. I was going to out anyways, so I decided to do a bolder look.
And before you ask, yes I am wearing a shirt, haha. I am wearing a strapless shirt...

What I used for the eyes:
~Rock & Republic eyeshadow in 'Alloy' on the entire lid, extending it to the inner corner and slightly past the crease.
~Rock & Republic eyeshadow in 'Scorch' on the outer corner, blending it further in along the lid and crease.
~Apply 'Scorch' on the lower lash line, about 3/4 of it, not going all the way to the inner corner
~Apply liquid liner, I used L'oreal's Lineur Intense [My favorite]
~Apply mascara, I used a sample of a YSL mascara, I'm not sure which one it is...

That is all I used for the eyes, I did not use a highlighter on the brown bone or anything like that, I was in a hurry. I have a review on the Rock & Republic Eyeshadows here.

Here you can see it better.

Products I used on my face and lips:
~Lioele Triple the Solution BB cream
~MAC 'Trace Gold' Blush
~Estee Lauder Blush in 'Peach Ombre' [I am in <3 with this blush, and actually the eye look reminds me of this blush. You will see what I mean. Look at the picture below.]
~MAC Creamsheen Lipstick in 'Ever Hip'

Most of the products I used. I forgot the BB cream and MAC blush

YSL mascara, Peach Nuance blush

Ughh, ignore my hair. I showered and didn't do anything with it.

As always, thanks for reading~

FOTD: Eyes of March #2

Hi hi Everyone! This is today's "Eyes of March!" I used two palletes, one new, and the other, not so new. I hope you enjoy~ Pardon how dark the pictures looks, it been dark all day and I took these pictures when it started get even darker outside.
Ignore my hair too...I have been studying all day and I just decided to go buy some stuff, but didn't care for doing my hair. D:
Here is the look. Its a smokey neutral look.
I used the new Wet N Wild 8 pan palette in 'Comfort Zone' and the 6 pan
palette in 'Vanity'

Wet N Wild 8 pan palette 'Comfort Zone'

~I used the bottom right color on my entire lid and slightly past the crease. It is a brown/red/bluish duochrome. Amazing color. I also applied this along the lower lash line, but only the outer 2/3rds.
~Then I used the color above it, which is a shimmer dark brownish green color and used a fluffy blending brush to add that color to my outer 'V' and blended it in slightly
~Next, from the 'Vanity' palette, I used a light brown matte color and applied it above my crease. This will help blend the colors and it will also contour the eye.
~From the 'Vanity' palette, I used a matte beige color and applied it above the brown color, along the brown bone to highlight.
~I then applied a thin line of liquid liner on my upper lash line and winged it out slightly.
~Using the same dark brown green shadow I used on my outer 'V,' apply it where you applied the liquid liner, this will soften the harsh line.
~Lastly apply mascara. I also applied the Tokidoki green colored mascara on my lower lashes.

In summary:

Face:
~Lioele Triple the Solution BB cream
~Estee Lauder Blush in Peach Nuance
~LORAC liquid highlighter in L1 Pearl

Lips:
~MAC Lustre lipstick in 'Made To Order' [burnt coral color]
I went for this color, because I used a peachy, coral-y blush. Also, I tried a nude color, but it really washed me out, and coral colors really brighten my complexion. And it really pops!

Haha~ I was swatching some of the eyeshadows on my hand, and I forgot about it.
Thanks for reading! Have great day!

FOTD: Eyes of March #1

I was inspired by fellow bloggers to complete a challenge. This challenge is called the "Eyes of March," and basically you are supposed to do different eye looks everyday using different eyeshadows. This way, you will use eyeshadows you don't normally use and you also get to experiment with ones you already use. I was inspired to do this look today, and I was also really bored. I was just doing a random makeup look, and I took some pictures, but you can't really see the eye shadows too much. I will post this as my first look either ways. I hope you enjoy my creepy pictures.
Oh and I will also post the link to the awesome blogger who started the challenge:
http://cutiegingerbread.blogspot.com/2011/03/eyes-of-march-march-1st.html
This look was inspired by a sort of creepy, lifeless doll look. I was reeeally bored, so yeah...

Haha, this one looks really creepy.
Putting on blush... :D I love my blush <3
My dog scared the beejezees out of me. I was home alone and he decided to pop in on me when I was about to take the picture. I thought it looked funny. ;D
 This is what I used:
EYES:
L'oreal HIP pigment on my entire lid.
MAC Color 3 Quad. Used the dark purple on the outer portion of my lower lash line using Tokidoki liner brush.
CoverGirl lash blast fusion mascara
L'oreal Lineur Intense liquid eyeliner on the upper lash line

CHEEKS:
MAC Pink Swoon blush <3
Tokidoki Blush Brush
L'oreal pigment in Exiting as my highlight along my cheekbones, down my nose, and on the cupid's bow

LIPS:
MAC Viva Glam Gaga

FACE: Lioele's Triple the Solution BB creme using the BeautyBlender

Look at this beautiful mirror! It is a Hello Kitty mirror that I bought at Japan Town in SF. It is sooo cute~
It has HK in a kimono under a Sakura tree with petals falling down. I <3 it. My favorite mirror. EVER.

That's all for today, thanks for reading!

Will you join the challenge?
