If you could only have 5 beauty products, what would you choose? This is an extremely difficult question for us beauty addicts, but this questions makes us see what things in our vast collection we actually need. Well, we don't really need any beauty products, but we all have those few products we cannot live without. Here are my top 5 beauty essentials that I cannot live without. Well, technically I could live without them, but it would be a very sad life...haha.

1. Lip Balm
I have extremely dry lips that crack and peel. I always have to have a lip balm on hand or else...my lips will be red and chapped. I honestly think that a simple lip balm makes a world of a difference on most people's lips. A lip balm equal smooth and hydrated lips, which look great even without lipstick or lipgloss.
The lip balms I currently use are: Smith's Rosebud Salve, Jack Black lip balm, and the EOS lip balm. But I am using the Jack Black the most.

2.Moisturizer
I have combination skin, but my skin tends to be a little dry in winter time, specially right after a bath. Face moisturizers are important to me because it makes my face feels soft and hydrated. Body moisturizers are also a must for someone with extremely dry skin. I sometimes get eczema, and I need to moisturize my skin properly in other to avoid getting eczema. I use Eucerin  Plus Intensive Repair Enriched Lotion for my body and it is super moisturizing!

3. Concealer
Concealer is a very useful beauty tool. Concealers are way more useful than foundations because they have better coverage and they can double as a foundation. I use concealer on my dark circles, blemishes, and redness. Concealers also take up less space than foundations so they are more travel friendly. My favorite concealer at the moment is the Benefit Erase Paste.

4.Mascara
Out of all my eye makeup, I think mascara is the one thing that makes the most difference. I can wear mascara alone, and my eyes will look bigger and more polished. On the other hand, I can't wear eyeshadows and then not wear mascara; if I wear eyeshadow I must wear mascara. That is why mascara is my go-to eye product. Right now, I am loving the Prestige My Blackest Lashes mascara.

5.Blush
Being a blush junkie, I MUST add this to my top 5. Blush can do amazing things to your face. It gives you a beautiful flush, it makes you look more youthful, and it also contours the face slightly. It is also very easy to apply. My minimal makeup routine always includes blush because blush just makes you look energized, full of life, and very put together. Of course, you can go wrong with blush if you don't know how to apply it or if you don't blend it out, but that is whole different story.
My favorite blush right now is the Jill Stuart Mix Compact Blush in #12. It is not only a stunning compact, but the blush itself is semi-sheer and very easy to wear. It also comes with four colors so you can use them separately or all together.
