Empties #4

Hello everyone~

I am super late with this post, but better late than never! I just wanted to show you all the products I used up during the month of August, as well as writing some short mini reviews =3

ELF Cream Eyeliner 'Gunmetal'
I did not necessarily finish this, but it was already dried up and unusable. This was honestly not good at all. I did not like it as an eyeliner nor as anything else. I have not even had it for very long and it already dried up. Good thing it was $3 so it wasn't the biggest waste of money.  But still, I don't think I will be purchasing this one or any other of the ELF cream liners any time soon.
Repurchase? NO!

ELF Eyelid Primer
This is my third used up tube of this primer. It is super inexpensive at only $1, and it works really amazingly. I rotate between using this one and my sampled of the Lime Crime primer. I am definitely not going back to Urban Decay's Primer Potion. This is so much cheaper and it works almost as good.
Repurchase? Definitely! This is now a staple product in my makeup collection!

Dolly Wink Liquid Eyeliner
This is still one of my favorite liquid liners ever. But I decided to move from this for a while to discover new products. I love it because it is very easy to use, very easy to make thin and controlled lines, and it lasts me a pretty long time. On the other hand, it is not easy to find for me in the US and it is not the most affordable product. For now, I will stick to my Urban Decay eyeliner.
Repurchase? Yes, but not now. In the future, perhaps.

Make Up Forever Smokey Lash mascara (sample)
I am not sure if it's because it was a sample, but I did not like this mascara at all. It did very little for my lashes; not much volume or length. I am not very fond of high end mascaras because of the price and because I feel that I can find something similar for much cheaper at a drugstore. But I guess that is just my preference.
Repurchase? No, definitely not!

Wet n Wild White Pencil Eyeliner
I've used this in many of my eye looks, and I think it is time to throw it away. Products like mascaras and eyeliners should be thrown away very frequently if you don't use them up. This was just a bit old now, and it was time to get a new one. It worked pretty well I have to say. It is really affordable at about $1-2. I like having a white eyeliner as they come very handy for the waterline.
Repurchase? Perhaps. I am moving on to a Jessie's Girl eyeliner this time though.

Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray (sample)
Hm...I am stumped with this product. I used it quite a number of times during the summer and I have to say I don't have much of an opinion on it. It didn't really do anything for my skin in terms of making my foundation look better or last longer. But it didn't do anything bad to my skin either. It felt nice and refreshing, especially when it was very hot outside. But I can't justify buying something just because it felt nice. Might as well just spray cool water on my face. Maybe my skin isn't as oily as others, or this product was just not right for me. Either ways, I am neutral on it.
Repurchase? No.

Urban Decay Liquid Liner in Ecstasy
I don't think these are even available anymore, and I've had this one for a while. I finally finished it this month though. This was a gorgeous purple liquid liner and I absolutely loved it. It was a bit thick for a liquid liner, but it was manageable and still easy to apply. The new 24/7 liquid liners are quite different than this one, and the purple one called Retrograde is not nearly as bright as Ecstasy. I am sad that I won't be able to purchase this one anymore. It really was an amazing color!
Repurchase? Unless I can find it, then no.

I hope to have even more empties this month! I am planning to do a project pan/shopping my stash/ no buy! My makeup collection is really getting out of control >_<" Hehe.
See you next time! :)
