Last Minute Halloween Look: Vampire Bride

Greetings from the Dark Side!!

Halloween is quickly creeping up on us and along with that, the desperation to find a costume. I love Halloween, but in the last two years, I haven't been dressing up. This is usually because I can't find a costume I like, or I end up not wanting to spend money on one. But sometimes you end up wanting to go to a costume part and need a last minute costume. As a part of a Halloween contest by The Powder Room, I quickly created this Vampire Bride look. It is so easy to do, it requires minimal products, and you can use this with a black dress and a veil to create a last minute costume.

I used all products that I had on hand, and I am sure you can create this just as easily!

Products Used
-ELF Eyelid Primer
-Lime Crime ChinaDoll Palette
-Ardell Double Up Lashes
-Prestige My Blackest Lashes Mascara

-Illamasqua Skin Base Foundation #03
-Illamasqua Hollow Cream Pigment
-Revlon 'Black Cherry' Lipstick
-Lime Crime 'Candy Apple' Lip Gloss (as the fake blood)

 Eye Look

The eye look is actually very simple.
1. I used the Lotus Noir (matte black) from the Lime Crime ChinaDoll Palette all over the lid and on the bottom lash line. You can even use a black eyeliner or any other black eyeshadow you have to create this dark look.
2. Then I used Fly Dragon Fly from the same Lime Crime palette and I blended it around the black eyehshadow on the crease and lower lash line. If you don't have a red eyeshadow you can either use a blush color, a burgundy eyeshadow,  or purple eyeshadow to create this look.
3. Apply some dramatic lashes and mascara (this look is equally dramatic without long lashes).

Rest of the Face
If you are doing a Vampire look, it is best to use a very pale foundation. I didn't have any white face cream, so  I just used the palest foundation I have.
Then, contour with either a contour powder or a cool-toned brown eyeshadow to make your cheekbones more prominent.
Use a black, red, or purple lipstick to complete the vampire look. I used Revlon Black Cherry lipstick because it is a very dark burgundy shade.
Lastly, I added a bit of a red lip gloss (Lime Crime Candy Apple) to the corners of my mouth to make it look like blood was dripping from my mouth.

You can make this look much more dramatic by using a paler foundation, increasing the intensity of the eye makeup, contouring much more, and by doing a more dramatic lip. Just do whatever you feel the most comfortable with! And just have fun with it.

Thank you for reading ♥
And have a marvelous October!
