The Legend of Zelda Series: Ganondorf

I wanted to start of the series with a little bit of evil. Ganondorf (or Ganon if you prefer) was the main antagonist of the Zelda series, although he does not appear in all the games. In most games, he holds the the Triforce of Power, and he is a power hungry villain. I have very fond memories of kicking his ass in Ocarina of Time, Wind Waker, and Twilight Princess. I was a little disappointed that he wasn't going to be in Skywards Sword, but oh well, I guess I will kick his ass again some other time ^_^

The two pictures below were my inspiration. The one on the left is Ganondorf from Twilight Princess, and the one of the right is Ganondorf from Wind Waker. I choose to use reds, blacks, the slight copper tones of MAC Smoked Ruby, and also two accents of gold to represent the Triforce.

The Ganondorf Inspired Look:

Products Used
-ELF Eyelid Primer
-Armani Eyes To Kill in #2, 'Lust Red'
-MAC Mineralize Eyeshadow in 'Smoked Ruby'
-Urban Decay 15th Anniversary Palette (Blackout, Vanilla, Chase)
-MUFE Aqua Liner in black (to line the waterline)
-MAC Cream Color Base in 'Black' (Which I applied on the lower lash line)
-KKCenterhk ES A500 Lashes
-Prestige My Blackest Lashes mascara
-Kat Von D Lipstick in 'Adora'

The "Gold" was actually the color Chase from the UD palette! My mistake!

I went with a messy under eye look. By using a Creme Color Base, I created a very rough, dark under eye look. Ganondorf is evil, and I am sure he spends many sleepless nights trying to come up with EVIL plans. And he also laughs evilly way too much, and that has created many fine lines around his eyes. xD

The black in the inner part of the eye just makes the look darker and more closed off. It creates a shadowed effect that is often seen in evil characters.
The pop of gold in the inner corner was inspired by the fact that Ganondorf does have one of the three pieces of the Triforce. The Trirforce is gold....so yeah I think you get it. Ganondorf often has gold accents in his wardrobe as well.
The lips...ah my lips were so chapped this day. And I was about to go exfoliate them, but then I thought "evil people do NOT exfoliate their lips!" So, therefore GANONDORF DOES NOT EXFOLIATE HIS LIPS! Plus, the chapped lip just makes this even more evil and rough looking.

Gangster Face Alert! I just though this picture was too funny! It made me crack up. I just look so weird!

Thank you so much for reading! I hope you enjoyed this super long post~ I wonder which character will be next...

  10. Oh. My. God. No wonder you wanted to hear what I think of this: it's totally stunning. Killer crease work. I love how vamptastic and femme fatale-like this is.

It scares me a little to think Ganon would be so sexy if he were a girl. xD
