Swatches + Review: Victorian Disco Galaxy Down the Street Collection

A Star Wars collection. Epic. I am just going to say it now: I love it! I have been waiting for someone to do a Star Wars themed eyeshadow collection and finally it happened! I don't have the entire collection, but I will review what I did purchase.

Price and Availability
You can purchase these from the Victorian Disco store on Etsy.
Full Size: $4.50
5 Mini Jars: $9
5 Full Size: $20.25
Shipping: $2
The total for a purchase of 10 colors (some of the other colors are not included in this post), plus two samples, shipping, and a 10% coupon was $26.86. Pretty good deal.

Shipping Time and Packaging
I received my order withing 5 days. For an indie brand, that is really fast! The packaging of the order was also really cute. Everything came in satchel with tissue paper, a business card, and two free sample baggies.

Satchel

The Full Size packaging has a sticker on the jar. I LOVE it!!! It is beyond cute =3 I mean how can I not love it? I am a huge Star Wars geek!

Swatches
These were applied with a slightly damp brush on my bare arm.

Death Star: Is a charcoal grey that borderlines on being black.
Millennium Falcon: A dark, aluminum silver.
Ewok Pajama Party: A silvery grey base with purple and silver sparkles (cutest name EVER)
The Fett: Red-toned purple with sparkles.

'The Force, Use it' was very hard to capture, so here is another picture.
R2: A bright, azure blue.
Lightsaber: A murky, teal blue
The Force, Use It: A light sage green base with a pink duochrome.

Review
Firstly, the names. I love the names of the colors. I am not going to lie. I bought Ewok Pajama Party purely for the name, although I do like the color. Ewok Pajama Party needs a little help with pigmentation though. I used water for the colors above, but it would have worked better to use Fyrinnae's Pixie Epoxy to really get a good pigmentation. I am really loving Death Star, Lightsaber, The Fett and The Force, Use It. Those are definitely my favorites. The most surprising color was The Fett. It came out looking way better than I expected and it is really gorgeous! Oh Boba Fett, you are pretty awesome!
Although some of the colors lack pigmentation, all of the shadows are very smooth and are applied easily. They also stay in place all day, but I still apply primer either way. I would love to try ALL the colors from this collection. But I should really not spend so much money on makeup @_@

Verdict
I love the names of the colors, and the name of the collection. This entire collection is sooo me! I love Star Wars and indie makeup ♥ The colors are gorgeous, and for the most part the formula is too. Ewok Pajama Party is my favorite in name but my least favorite formula of the bunch. The most unexpected colors were The Fett and The Force, Use it. The Fett exceeded my expectations and The Force, Use It is such a unique and cool color!
Death Star and Millennium Falcon are classic colors and you can't go wrong with them. If you are a Star Wars fan, you must check these out! And even if you are not, you can find some really pretty colors!

Rating: 9/10

I will be doing a separate review for the other colors!~ And of course, like usual, I will have looks using these colors as well ;)
