Review: Illamasqua Ore Pigment

When I showed Ore in my Haul + First Impressions, many of you went gaga for Ore Pigment. I have had a time to use it and I can finally review and show you guys how I have used it ^_^

Illamasqua Pure Pigment in 'Ore' is a beautiful, super pigmented bronze/gold with insane multi color shimmer. The most prominent color shimmer is green  (to me at least).

Price and Availability
$24 for 0/04 oz.
You can purchase this at Sephora or on the Illamasqua website.

Product Review
Like the Alluvium Pure Pigment, this is also really pigmented and has a great dimension of color and shimmer. And like Alluvium, it is very prone to having a lot of fallout. I guess that is inevitable since it is a pigment with a lot of shimmer.
The texture is super smooth, and is very easily applied and blended (just watch out for the fallout). I find that the best method for application is to pat in the color and then to lightly blend the edges.
Because this is very pigmented, you don't have to use a base or apply tons of layers of colors. But if you want, you can also apply this lightly for a more subtle wash of color.

PROS:
~AMAZING color <3
~Very pigmented
~You don't need to use a lot of product
~The shimmer is simply beautiful
~Easy to blend
~Smooth texture

CONS:
~Price! It is kind of expensive for the amount you get.
~Prone to fallout
~May be hard to get for some people

Swatches
Only one swipe!! Left:Ore without any base  /  Right: Ore over Pixie Epoxy

Front: Ore without a base  / Back: Ore over Pixie Epoxy
EOTD? I have two looks using this, but I will post them right after this so the post won't be too long! Check those out~ But I will give you a sneak peak :D

Verdict
I am soooo glad I bought this. This is a freaking gorgeous color! I don't think I would repurchase it because I don't think I will finish it anytime soon and I have so much makeup. Besides, it is expensive. But if you don't own as much makeup as me, this is definitely a Buy-Again kind of product! From all the Illamasqua pigments I have seen, I would say this is the MUST HAVE pigment.

Rating: 9.5/10
