Moon Sugar! If only it existed because it sounds awesome. It exists in the world of The Elder Scrolls though, where it is one of the ingredients to make the drug Skooma. It is also a beautiful eyeshadow many by Unbound Eden Cosmetics. Here is the look I created using 'Moon Sugar' and 'Frost Salts'.

Moon Sugar

Sorry if the face shots look crappy. I was wearing this makeup for 8 hours in 105 degree F weather. The heat is not very good for my makeup! Oh and at this point, I wasn't wearing false lashes like in the eye shots.

I indeed am wearing a shirt, I promise! ;)

I will make more looks using the UEC eyeshadows I just purchased :) Hope you liked this look.
Thanks you ♥ Until next time.

Dark Side Tips: Concert Makeup

Are you a concert fiend like me? Are you afraid that your makeup will melt off while moshing? Or are you simply confused about what makeup to wear to a concert? Don't fear, the Dark Side of Beauty is here! Although my tips are going to focus on rock/metal type of concerts, these tips could be applied to all sorts of concerts.

1. Avoid the cake face / overdone foundation.
This is a huge no-no, and I can say this by personal experience. Go light with your foundation or apply a lightweight and sweat-proof foundation. If you can, avoid applying foundation at all. Maybe stick with a long lasting concealer instead.
Why is this? Well because you will sweat and your foundation will look patchy and gross. If you are in a crowded area, with other pushed up so close against you that their sweat will get on you, you beat that your face will start to sweat and the foundation will just melt off. So keep it simple; apply something that will be easy to touch up. Concealer and a light but long lasting foundation will be better than a high coverage, mask-like foundation.

Top Powder Blush Picks Spring/Summer 2011

Hey guys!

Following my Top Cream Blush Picks, I am proceeding to show you guys my favorite powder blushes for this season. I personally prefer powder blushes, so I have a lot more powder blush favorites.
*I again apologize for mentioning limited edition products :/ But they are honestly my favorites.

 NYX 'Cinnamon' Powder Blush:
A great bright orange shade that is amazing for a bold cheek. This is matte.
Everyday Minerals 'Sand Cherry' Blush
~Lovely, shimmery golden, peachy color. I like this as a highlighter over a peachy/orange blush.
MAC 'Stereo Rose' MSF:
~ Shimmery coral. Gives a really nice glow to the cheeks
MAC 'Well Dressed'
~A light pink that is suitable for almost every skin tone. It is just one of those colors you can slap on with any look. It is my everyday, go-to blush.
MAC 'Spaced Out'
~A light, warm peach color. But it has a very interesting pink sheen that is not captured by the camera. A very unique blush.
MAC 'Dolly Mix'
~A hot pink, that is still very wearable. This blush give an amazing glow to the face, and it looks great on all skin tones. I like to layer this over 'Well Dressed'.

Swatches

Spring and Summer have been all about the orange and corals, so play up your cheeks with some bold colors!
