Disney Series: Princess Jasmine (Aladdin)

Greetings my darlings!

I am a huge fan of Disney's Aladdin! When I was young, Aladdin was one of my favorite movies and I watched it all the time. I have always loved Jasmine's red outfit, more so than her usual blue outfit. I knew that if I did a Jasmine inspired look, I wanted it to be inspired by the red outfit, so that is what I'm doing today! I borrowed some aspects of the Arabic-style makeup: lots of eyeliner in the elongated, cat-eye shape. I knew I wanted to incorporate red in this look, but I didn't want it to be overpowering. So instead of doing a mostly red eye look, I made a neutral gold smokey eye with red on the lower lash line. I kept the rest of my face very neutral too. I quite like the way it turned out and I hope you all like this look too :D Keep reading for a step-by-step tutorial~

Disney Series: Belle (Beauty and the Beast)

Bonjour my lovely readers!

I apologize for the extreme delay with this post. Some of you might know this, but for those of those who don't know, I will say it again: I am a college senior and I *hopefully* will be getting my Bachelor's degree in about three weeks. I am really busy trying to pass all my classes so I can graduate already! But, even if this post is late, I still wanted to post it this week :D I will have the Jasmine inspired look this week too so look out for that one!

I love Beauty and the Beast! I was looking forward to doing this because Belle is my best friend's favorite princess. No joking, she has a shrine of Belle collectibles xD This look was a bit difficult for me because I felt like yellow was the only color I could work with. But I ended up incorporating a bit of brown and gold into as well. I wanted to keep my lips very neutral so I choose to wear Chanel's Rouge Coco in 'Mademoiselle'. Kind of fitting, don't you think (since she is French)? Anyway, I hope you like the look!

Swatches and Comparison: Maybelline Spring 2014 Color Tattoos

Greetings from the Dark Side!

There are so many Color Tattoos in the Maybelline range now. So how do you know if you need a new shade? What if it is similar to a shade you already own? Well, I am going to try to help you guys out here by swatching the 6 new Spring 2014 Color Tattoos and comparing them to all the previous shades that look anywhere remotely close to these. Are you ready?! Keep reading for more~

EDIT: These are limited edition after all, as confirmed by Nouveau Cheap

Haul: Maybelline, Urban Decay Victorian Disco Cosmetics, NYX, Milani

Greetings from the Dark Side!

Although I've been trying to cut down my spending on makeup, I am super stressed out from school right now which causes me to buy makeup xD These are some purchases from the past week or so and I just wanted to share them before I post any First Impressions, swatches, or Reviews.

1.Maybelline Spring 2014 Dare To Go Nude Collection (Color Tattoos and blushes)
The Dare To Go Nude collection is a new collection for this spring that consists of all neutral colors. I have been really excited for this collection because there are 6 new Color Tattoos! I collect these and I always need to buy the new shades xD I don't think these are limited edition because the shrink wrapping did not have "Limited Edition" stamped on them. They might be permanent shades, but that has not been confirmed yet. Because all the Maybelline stuff was BOGO 50% at Rite Aid, I ended up getting two more products from the collection: the Master Hi-Light in 'Natural' and the Master Glaze in 'Barely Pink'. These two are Limited Edition and I have yet to try out these two ranges of products so I though I might as well try them. The Color Tattoos are $6.99, the Master Hi-Light is $9.99, and the Master Glaze is $8.99. However, I took advantage of the BOGO 50% and got all six products for about $47.

EDIT: These are limited edition after all, as confirmed by Nouveau Cheap

Pahlish Febuary Duo 'EXTERMINAAAATE!'

Greetings from the Dark Side!

Lately, I've been sort of obsessed with the indie nail polish brand Pahlish. The brand's recent Doctor Who inspired polishes are so freaking amazing! I can't even describe it in words ♥ In January, the owner released a the first part of a Doctor Who inspired polish collection as well as a nail polish duo. I purchased the first part of the collection (which I swatched and reviewed HERE), but I totally missed out on the January Duo. This month, however, I made sure to pick up the February duo inspired by the Daleks first! I do plan on getting the second part of the Doctor Who collection, but not right now.

The February duo called 'EXTERMINAAAATE!' consists of two polishes: 'The Primary Order' (light cement grey with dark grey and bronze flecks) and 'The Crucible' (metallic glitter and metallic shimmer polish).

'The Primary Order' is delicate and wearable, but definitely not boring. It has a lovely mix of colors. It is opaque in two coats and it dries very quickly.

'The Crucible' is a glitter polish with different sizes and colors. It looks really good over 'The Primary Oder'! It is difficult to remove, but it is a glitter so that's no surprise.

Disney Series: Princess Aurora (Sleeping Beauty)

"The gleam in your eyes is so familiar a gleam"

I am excited and also very hesitant to show you my Princess Aurora inspired look. Aurora is one of my favorite princesses and Sleeping Beauty is one of my favorite Disney films, but I found this look to be super difficult! I tried to do this look three times and I disliked the result each time. This was the one I liked the most, but I am not extremely happy with it. I hope you all like it better than me ^_^

Hiii dark siders ♥

It is almost that time of the year again. That day that a lot of people dread: Valentine's Day! It's time to get out your pink eyeshadows, blushes, and lipsticks! For those of you who like bolder looks for February 14th, here is a flirty, kickass pink and purple look you can rock! Personally, I will be going out to bars for the 14th, and this is something I would totally wear for that. It's fun and colorful, but still kind of sweet and girly.
