Haul!: Walgreens, Rite Aid, and ULTA

Greetings dark siders!

I recently started to clean out my makeup collection, but I guess I decided to invest in some new products so I went hauling xD I swear when ever I say "I don't really haul anymore", BAM! I go and buy a bunch of stuff! Oh well, more stuff for you guys to see on my blog ^_^

                                                                           Walgreens

1. Pond's  Luminous Clean Wet Cleansing Towelettes
So I went to Walgreens because I needed to get some makeup removing wipes. I have been using the Simple Facial Wipes for a while now, and I noticed my skin breaking out a bit when I stopped using them. I usually get my makeup removing wipes from Rite Aid, but I was closer to Walgreens so I went there. Unfortunately the wipes were more than $6, and I always pay less than $4 per pack from Rite Aid. Instead I picked up the Pond's makeup removing wipes because they were BOGO FREE. I ended up getting 2 packs of 30 wipes for $5.99! Score!

Return of the Look: Eyes of March

Greetings from the Dark Side!

If you have not read the introduction for the Return of the Look Series, please check it out HERE to see what this is all about! And if you have already read it, then welcome to the first installment!

Today I am going to re-do one of the first looks I made for this blog. There was a challenge called "Eyes of March" and it was basically a 31 day challenge to post a makeup look everyday using different makeup products each time. For one day, I made an orange look. I will be re-creating the look. You can see the original post HERE.

July Favorites 2012

Hello~! How are you all doing? I am sooooo happy it's August! I dislike the heat and I love autumn! But since July is already over, it is time to share my favorites for the month.

1. YSL Teint Resist Foundation #3
I love this foundation! It is really amazing for the summer since it is both very lightweight and semi-matte. I have used it a lot since it has been freaking hot outside. It is super long wearing and it lasts all day. I heard this foundation has been discontinued T_T I am so sad!

2. Illamasqua 'Hollow' Cream Pigment
This is an amazing contour shade for pale skin people. It is cool-toned and it does not show up orange. It is actually very natural looking!

3. Prestige My Biggest Lashes
This is my favorite mascara  at the moment, and it is really awesome~

 4.Fyrinnae 'Gilded Wings'
One of my big obsessions is gold eyeshadow. This eyeshadow by Fyrinnae is freaking beautiful. It is very pigmented, it has a foiled look, and it is really stunning on the eyes.

5. Unbound Eden Cosmetics 'Frost Salts' and 'Cherry Frosting'
I recently purchased these eyeshadows and I LOVE them. I have used both of these shades a lot this past month. Frost Salts is a beautiful blue and Cherry Frosting is a very unique pink in my collection. They are very pigmented, smooth, and easy blendable.

6. Tokidoki Skeletrina Lip Balm Stain
I love this lip stain! It is so fun and bright, and it stays put on my lips for hours! I adore it! It is glossy and yet it is also a stain.

7. Jordana 'Lily Rose' Matte Lipstick
This is a beautiful purple-pink with a matte finish. Jordana lipsticks are really inexpensive but they are really great quality.

8.NYX 'Dolly Pink' Lip Pencil
I don't use lip pencils often but these are really great.  They are inexpensive and they do the job. Dolly Pink is a nice light pink; the perfect pretty pink for pink and purple-pink lipsticks.

9. Ardell Lashes
I've really been enjoying these lashes this month. They look beautiful and they are really easy to apply.

These were pretty much the products I used in the month of July. Have you tried any of these? What were your favorites?

Drugstore Haul + First Impressions: Revlon, Wet n Wild, Ardell, SOHO, Sinful Colors

Hey guys! Happy Friday :) Since I was so happy that this week was finally over, I went to a few drugstores and hauled a little. I went to Rite Aid, Walgreens, and CVS.

Firstly, this line of brushes called SOHO. I have never heard of them, but I picked one of the smudger brushes. I could not get a decent shot on this brush, and my camera has no battery now. But I do want to make a formal review of this.

SOHO Smudger Brush ($7.99)
So this is a very small Taklon Fiber brush. The bristles are really soft! The only complaint I have so far is that the handle is really cheaply made. It's plastic and I hate it!

Sinful Colors 'Cinderella' Nail Polish ($2.99)
I own one of these and I absolutely love it. A fellow blogger was really kind to get it for me since I couldn't find it. But, I saw two of them at Walgreens and I took both of them  >:D
I want one as a backup and the other I will probably give it away with a future giveaway or something.

Wet n Wild 'Sweet As Candy' Trio
I love these trios! They are fantastic! Pigmented, soft, and blendable!

Wet n Wild Single Eyeshadow 'Glamrock' ($0.99)
This a new shade in the single shadow range. It looked pretty so I decided to try it out :) I probably have something similar to it, but whatever xD
Bad, bad swatch!
When I went to Rite Aid there was a 40% off Revlon products so I took advantage of this sale to get a new foundation. My BB creams are almost gone so I needed something else.

Revlon ColorStay Foundation '150 Buff' (~$8)
I love this foundation! It is a no-fail for me, so I thought it would be nice to have as a backup of sorts.

Revlon ColorStay Whipped Foundation (~$8)
This is the new foundation for the Revlon ColorStay line. I have heard a lot of great things about it, and since I could get a bit cheaper, I thought why not! I used it today, but I am not sure how I feel about it just yet. I'll keep using it and let you all know what I think of it.

Ardell Double Up #201 Lashes ($4.99)
These lashes caught my eye. They have two layers of lashes to create a very dense lash. They looked really awesome and they were $1.00 off!

Revlon Just Bitten Lip Stain 'Gothic' ($~5)
I have eyed this color for a long time, and since it was 40% off, it was the best time to get it. I really love the color! I hope it doesn't dry out though since it has a marker-like brush.

Revlon Just Bitten Lip Stain Balm 'Darling' (~$5)
These are the new lip products from Revlon, and they looked really interesting. I purchased this one, which is a purple-toned pink. There are a lot of colors to choose from though.  I haven't tried it yet, so there isn't much else I can say about it just yet.

A little unrelated...but I found these two new products in one of my drawers. I bought them not too long ago. I will also be giving these away in a future giveaway!

I love drugstore makeup ♥ It is so awesome! I think my favorite drugstore brands are Revlon, Wet n Wild, Sinful Colors, and Prestige. What are yours?
