Ummm...well since you have no special traits you can be part of Hufflepuff, the House for the rejects loyal! Yep, I am sure you will be super happy there!

Just kidding anyone who is part of Hufflepuff (don't kill me)! Hehe, we always have to make fun of Hufflepuff just a little ;) I thought I would try to redeem this House by making a fierce black and yellow look. Hufflepuff seems so understated, but hey, we can show some Hufflepuff spirit and look damn good doing it! I hope you enjoy this look~

A Song of Ice and Fire Series: House Martell

"Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken".

House Martell is one of the seven Great Houses of Westeros whose ruling seat lies in Dorne. Their house sigil is "a gold spear piercing a red sun on an orange field".

If you only watch the TV series, then you haven't heard a lot about this House; however, if you read the books then you will be a bit more familiar with them. I am particularly fond of the female characters that are connected to this House (like Nymeria and the Sand Snakes)! My rendition of this look is taking the concept of the House sigil; I used oranges, red, and yellow for this look.

FOTD: Mischievous Punk

Welcome to the Dark Side :) I hope you are all having a wonderful Friday night! I am being totally lazy just watching South Park and having some good laughs!

As I said in my Eccentric Cosmetics review, I wanted to do a separate post for two of the looks I made. One of the looks is a very easy burgundy/smokey purple look. It is very "punk", but still has a little bit of girly-ness and softness. Let me know what you think of it!

My Highlighter Stash

Hello~ ♥

I love seeing how people use their highlighters and what different highlighters they use. Everyone has their own preferences and methods to applying highlighters. I have both liquid and powder highlighters, but I tend to use them differently. Here are the highlighters I have, and what I use each different one for.

Liquid Highlighters

For the most part, I like to use liquid highlighters in my foundation. I will add a drop or two of a liquid highlighter into my foundation to make it more luminous. If I forget to do that, then I might get a drop of a liquid highlighter and dab it on my cheeks with my fingers.

MAC Pink Rebel and Sun Rush Lustre Drops

These MAC Lustre Drops work best for me when I add them into my foundation. I don't really like using them over my foundation because I feel that they look too obvious on my skin tone.

December Favorites

Hello~ :)
The year is already over but I still want to show you my December favorites. I only have a few products but none the less, here they are.

1.Estee Lauder Illuminating Powder Gelee
I have already mentioned this before, but I seriously have to mention it again. I love this. I have used it every single day since I purchased it. It is not available anymore, but there is a dupe (Laura Mercier Face Illuminator). It is the most perfect highlight, a radiant rose gold color. After my BB cream, this is my must-have product and something I wear on an everyday basis. I have nothing bad to say about it.

2. Illamasqua 'Moral' Blush
I have used this blush 3/4 of the month. It is the perfect blush! It is bright, yet you an sheer it out for a beautiful magenta glow. It lasts all day on my cheeks and makes me look youthful. It does have a metallic-like finish, so if you have really oily skin you might want to stay away.

3. ELF Eye Contour Brush
A $3 crease/pencil brush. It is super soft, yet great for blended or applying colors on the outer V. It is great quality for the very inexpensive price! I love this brush, and I am considering buying a couple more.

4. Revlon ColorBurst Lipgloss 'Bordeaux'
A gorgeous sparkling raspberry shade! Perfect for the winter time. The gloss is not sticky and it has a great color pay off. I am mean, seriously, look at the color! It is beautiful! <33333333333

5. OPI 'The One That Got Away'
I dislike Katy Perry, but I love this color. Looks great with the Revlon lipgloss xD
It it just a great sparkly raspberry shade. I have worn it a lot this month because it matches the  lipgloss~

Estee Lauder 'Metallic Sage' Nail Lacquer

A while back, I had my first experience using an Estee Lauder nail polish, and I had absolutely loved it! When I saw a the new collection for Estee Lauder and saw the polish Metallic Sage, I instantly fell in love with it and knew I had to have it. You will see why I am becoming increasingly impressed with the EL nail lacquers!

Metallic Sage ($19.00, Limited Edition) is a dirty gray-toned olive green with loads of gold shimmer. The color is hard to describe, but it is a darker sage green and under some lighting, it is more of a khaki green. This is very expensive, but I LOVE this color sooo much. It went opaque in one coat, and it looks simply amazing. If you are interested, you can check it out at Nordstrom and if you don not like  it, you can always return it :)

You can checkout Vampy Varnish's review, which I totally agree with. And you check out Scrangie's review (although I do not agree with her opinion on the formula).

*I am wearing a base coat and 1 coat of Metallic Sage. No topcoat! Insane, right?

 *This polish was sooo difficult to photograph! The green looks a little more saturated in the photos. In real life, it is a dustier and more of a sage green. But,the gold shimmer is extremely accurate in the photos. The gold shimmer is very heavy and not subtle at all.

Verdict
I love the formula, color, shimmer, and packaging! Price? Not so much. This is definitely not something everyone will want to buy. But, as I am an over obsessive makeup and nail polish junkie, I had to have it.But other than the price, it is absolutely perfect!

Rating: 9.5/10 (-.5 for high price!)
Recommend? I would recommend it to people who love to "invest" in high quality nail polishes,and also to other over obsessive junkies ^_^
Repurchase? Hm...thats a tough one.I am going to say no. But I will say that if Estee Lauder releases any other colors similar to this, I will be all over them!

Estee Lauder 'Surreal Violet ' Nail Lacquer

*NOTE: The photos were taken before I cut my nails and that is why I have long nails here.

A couple of months ago I picked up this polish at my local Cosmetic Company Outlet. I was browsing around and I saw the Estee Lauder nail lacquers and thought I should try one. This was the color that appealed to me the most~

Surreal Violet is a greyed mauve/purple with gold and copper shimmers. I did not own another color such as this, and though it would be a unique color to add to my ever-growing collection.

Price and Availability
Originally $18 for a .3 fl oz bottle. But I purchased mine for $12.75 at a CCO.


Formula
Although it is semi-sheer, the polish is not too watery. That makes this polish opaque in 2-3 coats. It dries quickly, which is an added plus. It wears nicely as well; I wore this for a week straight without chipping.

Swatches

Verdict
This was a little expensive, but I really like it. The color is unique and it looks very feminine and chic on the nails. It is a little sheer at first, but it build up nicely. I would suggest checking your CCO to see if they have this color available~

Rating: 9/10
Recommend? Yes! If you are willing to spend more than $10 on a nail polish and you love dusty purples, check this one out!
Repurchase? Actually, I think I would. This is wearable and appropriate for many situations.
