Swatches:
[Left to Right]: Lion Pappa, Savana, Ercolino, and Bulleto |
[Left to Right]: Lion Pappa, Savana, Ercolino, and Bulleto |
Swatch above the eyeshadows: Royal Pride Bronzer |
PROS:
~If you love shimmery neutrals, then this is a great palette. My favorite colors are Ercolino and Buletto.
~ I actually really like the bronzer. It reminds me of MAC Trace Gold blush. It is maybe slightly more pigmented and more terracotta colored than Trace Gold, though.
~Very smooth
~Can be applied to be very pigmented or you can apply it sheer.
~The blush/bronzer goes very well with this palette.
CONS:
~Can have a lot of fallout if you are not careful
~The palette has no matte colors, so if you are planing to travel and want to do wearble eye looks, you might have to take another palette or eyeshadow with you. You don't want to use too many of these colors together, since they are all shimmery and metallic, and pretty pigmented. You don't want to look like a glitter ball, especially not for work.
~I do not see this as functioning as an independent palette. Palettes usually contain a highlight color, and maybe a crease color as well. And this does not.
Thanks for reading and stay tuned for Part 2 & 3!
What do you guys think of this palette?
I love my mattes, and its a bummer to hear that they are all shimmery! The shades actually look really nice though! I must say, I love the packaging. So cute! It reminds me of Urban Decay and Too Faced palettes in their presentation. Would you agree?
