Hello ^_^
After completing the 15 weeks of the a low-buy, I am happy to report that I have actually been sticking to a low-buy. I have not purchased anything after buying the four L'oreal Infallible eyeshadows and a few new RBL polishes. I have been really stressed out these past few days though, so I gave myself a small break and went to Walgreens to do some hauling. I bought a few things from Revlon because there was a BOGO sale going on~ Woot! Sales are awesome :D
I love, love, love Revlon products, especially Lip Butters. I managed to score all three of the Baby Sticks ('Pink Passion', 'Sunset', and 'Tahitian') and two of the Lip Butters ('Juicy Papaya' and 'Wild Watermelon').

2. Nail Polishes!!
I also picked up a few nail polishes. I purchased two from Sally Hansen ('Hot Lava' and 'Butterscotch'), one Sinful Colors Gel polish ('Bananappeal'), and two of the Revlon Pacific Coast polishes ('Seashell' and 'Sunburst'). I bought 'Butterscotch' and 'Bananappeal' because I have been looking for the perfect yellow nail polish. I have not tried these yet, but when I do I will make sure to show you guys what they look like :D
I'm glad you're sticking to your newfound low-buy skills Nancy!! I'm also supremely jealous that you found the lip butters at your local drugstore. I can't find Juicy Papaya ANYWHERE around me =/
ReplyDeleteThank you! I am trying! Also I am saving money for other things in my life~ Aww that's too bad! Juicy Papaya is quite wonderful~!
DeleteI've heard it's going permanent and has shown up at various Ulta stores so that's where I'm going to go look next!
DeleteI really want to try the new lip butters but I am skeptical because I am afraid they might be too sheer to show up on my pigmented lips. Those baby sticks are adorable, btw.
ReplyDeleteThe Lip Butters are quite pigmented, IMO. Wild Watermelon especially is really nicely pigmented. I'd recommend the colors that are darker, like Wild Watermelon.
DeleteGlad you got them! I got all of the lip butters and my favorite (surprisingly) were the lighter shades, especially juicy papaya. Also, i would REALLY love to know what you think of the baby sticks. i heard they werent too amazing :/
ReplyDeleteHmmm, I am still unsure about the Baby Sticks. They do not swatch well at all, but apply better. Pink Passion was probably the most pigmented. But overall, they are semi-sheer. This can be bad and good. If you are looking for something that is really pigmented and buildable, then this is not for you. But if you want a natural(but noticeable) pop of color, then you might like this. The formula is quite balmy, and they have a glossy-like finish which is okay, not the best formula I've seen.
DeleteYeah, i heard about their pigmentation (or lack thereof lol) and im not too sure about how i feel on a glossy look on my cheeks. I guess i'd have to give them a try. do you recommend them?
DeleteHonestly I haven't used them enough to say too much on them. I do know that I hate these on my lips because they are a bit waxy. I used them on my cheeks and they looked good. They do apply with t a glossy finish, but they dry after a couple of minutes. So far, I would say that they are nice but not that great that you should be worried about not having them. Pink Passion is definitely my favorite of the three, and I would recommend that one.
DeleteThe Baby Sticks are so cute! I've never seen those before; are they a lip/cheek product? :) Would love to see a review on them. ^^
ReplyDeleteYes, they are supposed be a lip/cheek product. I will review them as soon as I use them enough :D
DeleteSo much red!!! Love love love :D
ReplyDeleteHaha I didn't even notice that! xD
DeleteThese lip butters look deliciously juicy for the summer :) And the baby sticks are so cute!!!
ReplyDeleteThey really are! Lip Butters are quite amazing <3
DeleteI've never seen those baby sticks before (because as usual half of the Revlon products are not even imported here) but they look utterly cute!
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry to hear that! Revlon has really fantastic LE products. I would be so angry if I didn't have access to them. But they are even hard to find here in the US some times.
DeleteSally Hansen 'Hot Lava' looks great!
ReplyDeleteIT really does :D
DeleteRevlon Lip Butters color looks very pretty, I'll buy it this weekend :) thanks for the swatches ...
ReplyDeleteyou're welcome~
DeleteI want to try Baby Sticks. They look great!
ReplyDeleteAw I wish we had the Baby Sticks here! And the new lip butter shades haven't been released yet either :( But they look really nice.
ReplyDeleteJuicy Papaya looks gorgeous :) Can't wait to see how the yellow polishes go.....I have a good yellow but it was limited edition (essence's snow white themed trend edition) so I'm looking for something to replace it :(
ReplyDeleteI'll post swatches of the ones I purchases. I am still on the hunt too. It is so difficult to find a great yellow polish!
DeleteBaby Sticks look amazing! Such a pitty that it's unavailable in my country :/
ReplyDeleteGreat haul! Revlon Lip Butters look nice! Also love the nail polishes.
ReplyDeleteI picked up the same lip butter shades but the Baby Sticks were all swiped before I could get one >.<
ReplyDeleteAww that is terrible! I hate when that happens!
DeleteLove the first from left to right
ReplyDeleteThose Baby Sticks look freaking adorable!
ReplyDeletewow these sticks look amazing and wonderful for summer!

ReplyDeleteBaby Sticks look amazing!
ReplyDeleteeverything seem awsome!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm loving your nails in these pics! ;-)
ReplyDeleteThose baby sticks look amazing. I am hoping my local drugstores will get those lip butters in soon. I'm dying to try them. PS I also love your nails in these pictures... is the glitter a HARE polish?
ReplyDeleteThanks :D
DeleteAnd yes IT IS! Wow, you have a good eye! I was going to post some swatches today, lol!
I have been wanting to try Revlon lip products, and I might go with the baby sticks or the lip butters--the colours are adorable!
ReplyDeletelove your mani! what did you use?
ReplyDeleteHm let me remember. I think it was Rescue Beauty Lounge 'Yellow Fever' nail polish with HARE 'Married to a Monarchy' glitter on top :D
DeleteI love the lip butters! I'm going to have to pick up the baby sticks too!
ReplyDeleteThat hot lava looks DIVINE!
ReplyDeleteOooooh I want some. I'm not on a low or no buy so I might be heading out today lol
ReplyDeleteI've heard such good things about lip butters, but I've never tried them. I have a love-hate relationship with lip products. My lips usually get pretty dry when I wear lipstick, so I try to stick to glosses or those types of formulas. I really should try a lip butter to see if they work for me. Thanks for the swatches!
