Hello everyone!
I went to Rite Aid and Walgreens today and I found a few items that actually really interested me. I believe that these are all new products for 2014! How exciting! I will be posting more in depth posts about each product along with swatches and a short first impression. Keep and eye out for that :)
1. Maybelline Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser ($6.99)
I've heard so many great things about this product and I was so excited to finally see it at my Walgreens. I really wanted this to use it on my nose area since I have very visible pores there and hopefully this will help with that!
2. Rimmel Stay Matte Primer ($3.99)
There was a display of some new Rimmel stuff at my Rite Aid at BOGO 50% off. I picked up two items, one being this primer. I have been looking for a cheaper alternative to my Kat Von D primer so I picked this up to see how it works. It seems like it is similar to the KVD one at a glance (it is a creamy primer, not a gel primer) but I will have to try it out to compare it in depth.
3. Rimmel Stay Matte Liquid Mousse Foundation ($3.99)
This is the other Rimmel product I picked up. It looks interesting because it is in the "Stay Matte' line but it is a mousse foundation; it seems to be a hydrating mousse that dries to a matte finish. It might be a great product for my combination skin, but I will wait to actually try it out!
4. Wet n Wild MegaSlicks Balm Stain ($1.39 each)
There are going to be a lot of new Wet n Wild products for 2014, and one is the Balm Stain. These are jumbo pencil stains, very much like the Revlon Just Kissable Balm Stains. They were really inexpensive because they had a $1.00 off coupon attached. Yay for coupons!
5. Kiss Lashes ($3.99)
I think these are new lashes since they were on a separate display at Walgreens. I tend to stick to Ardell lashes, but these looked really pretty. They are supposed to be "light as a feather".
Id love to see a review on the Rimmel foundation! I have yet to spot it and I'd love to know about it :) Awesome haul though!
ReplyDeleteThose lashes are so pretty! I haven't seen the baby skin primer yet, but now I'm going to be on the hunt for one! Let me know how it performs!
