World of Warcraft Series: Alexstrasza

"Life is my Aspect, Dark One, and I, like all mothers, know both the pain and wonders that entails!"

Alexstrasza, the Life-Binder and Dragonqueen, is an "immense dragon...colored a deep, rich red that seems to shimmer and dance before your eyes" (source). For this look, I wanted to use red, purple, and gold as the main colors.

Not my image. Source.

World of Warcraft Series: Nozdormu

"Time is a tangled web. Try not to dwell on all the loose ends."

Here is another WoW inspired look for all of you, and another one inspired by the Dragon Aspects. This one is inspired by Nozdormu, The Timeless One. He is a "bronze dragon, with scales of a metallic golden-brown color, and can arrange sand to conform to his body, cementing into one definite form" (source). I used the artwork below for inspiration, using neutral colors (golds and browns) as well as a bright pop of blue. I am still super obsessed with using glitter so I threw some gold glitter into this as well! I hope you enjoy this tutorial :)

World of Warcraft Series: Deathwing

"And all will burn beneath the shadow of my wings..."

I am quite excited to show you my Deathwing inspired look! Deathwing is one of the Dragon Aspects from World of Warcraft, the MMORPG game. Deathwing the Destroyer is described as a "massive monstrosity before you rises up like a black, crag-covered mountain of scales and hide. The head is a spade-like terror spiked with cruel red eyes that shine with a frightening malevolence. Rivulets of lava and magma are visible beneath the great wyrm’s scorched scales" (source). I wanted to use black, red, and orange for this look and I am pretty happy with the result! I hope you all like it as well!

World of Warcraft Series: For the Horde!

Here is a second entry for the VDC World of Warcraft contest. This time I am doing a look for the Horde. I saw a lot of you guys do not like the Alliance. And I must admit that I prefer this look over my first~ Hope you like it too!

Oh and excuse that little eyelash that is on the bottom of my eye. It ruined the pictures!

Inspiration:

Products Used
-ELF Eyelid Primer
-Lime Crime ChinaDoll palette (matte red and black)
-Urban Decay 24/7 pencil liner 'Perversion'
-Maybelline Illegal Length mascara
-KKCenterhk ES A598 Lashes

-Lioele Triple the Solution BB Cream
-Lime Crime 'Candy Apple' lip gloss
How to Achieve this Look

-All I did was to use my ELF Angled Eyeliner Brush to try to make the shape of the symbol on my eye with a red eyeshadow. The red is Fly Dragon Fly form the ChinaDoll palette. I colored in the areas and left a small space for the black. -After I traced the symbol and filled it in with the red, I applied the black, Lotus Noir, with the same brush.
- I applied black eyeliner on my water line, mascara and lashes.
-You see the diamond shape on the center of the original symbol? I left it out of my eye look, but drew it on my forehead with the same red eyeshadow.

Making the symbol was not easy for me. I am not used to making such fine details. As you can see, it is not perfect and there is a lot of mistakes. Not bad for my first try. I thought it ended up looking cool though.

I only did this on one eye. The other has the black eyeshadow, mascara, and lashes. It would take too much time to do the other eye, plus I thought it would look cool with only one eye done.

I freaking adore this lip gloss! You can't even see it's true beauty in those pictures. Here have a better look:
Lime Crime 'Candy Apple' lip gloss (review coming soon!)

Yes it is a crazy look! Very fun though :D
Let me know what you think of the look!
Thanks for reading ♥

World of Warcraft Series: For the Alliance

Hello! Let's geek out some more today, shall we?
Any World of Warcraft players here? If you are, you might be excited to hear that Victorian Disco Cosmetics will be releasing a WoW inspired collection called Azeroth. Due to this new collection, VDC is also having a WoW makeup look contest on the VDC Facebook page. The winner will receive the entire new collection.
I played WoW ages ago, and I don't play any more mostly because I get super addicted to playing and I won't stop. It is that bad. But, I wanted to join in on the fun of the contest and do some inspired looks. This first one is inspired by the Alliance logo.
