These two goals are my weekly goals for next week. These two goals must
be completed by next Sunday in order for me to earn reward money.
*Week 15 might be the last week I do this, but I am not sure yet. I want to keep limiting the amount I spend on makeup or at least keep track of how much I am spending a week!
Goal #1: I will finish the Diablo 3 Series with the Barbarian look (re-re-try, LOL).
Goal #2: I will post at least 5 product reviews this week (Maybelline Color Tattoos, Wet n Wild palettes, etc).
See you all next week ^_^
Even if you went over your budget just a tiny bit, I think you're doing a great job! I'd love to do a no buy like yours just to keep track of spending. Plus I love how it encourages getting important stuff done! I would give myself points for working out, since I'm not in school right now.
ReplyDeleteI love your way of doing this. With the no spend it just totally cuts of all spending, but with yours you can earn the right to spend! I might try this later in the year, to help with savings and motivate myself at uni xx
ReplyDeleteHi Nancy, just wanted to say I just found your blog and really enjoy it. I actually think your No Buy challenge posts are more interesting than others I've read because of the allowances you've set for yourself based on goals accomplished. It has definitely inspired me to try to set up something similar for myself. Stay well, xx Mandy
ReplyDeleteHi Mandy! Trust me, Nancy's modified no-buy has definitely inspired quite a few of us to implement something similar. Good luck with yours!!
Deletewell done :) I'm still in the negative.....lol! Goodluck with your goals!
ReplyDeleteDo your best! :)
DeleteAnd thank! I will do my best!
This is the most interesting (though seemingly complicated) system for budgeting I've seen! I ought to try to something like it. Right now, I just picked an arbitrary number :-P I'm not having success as of yet...
ReplyDeleteI like it because it helps to motivate me~
DeleteGood luck with yours!
I have to say that I love reading about your project No-Buy and every time I read about it I keep thinking about how I should really start doing one... especially after my recent Fyrinnae buying spree, i just cant resist them sometimes! At least my husband doesn't complain too much. If you stop doing your project no buy I will for sure start one of my own.
ReplyDeleteHaha Fyrinnae is very tempting indeed!
DeleteAnd thank you! I am glad to have received so much positive feedback from all of you. I hope this works for you as it has for me!
Oh no, I'll be very sad to see the Project No Buy updates go :( I think they're an excellent way of keeping track of your spending even if you aren't restraining your budget! In fact, it'd be interesting to see if the 15-week low-buy has modified your spending habits long-term or not. Congratulations on the grades <3
ReplyDeleteI think I might keep doing them because it is a great to track what I spend, what I buy, and how I have been doing in school. I think in my update for Week 15, I will include some thoughts on this whole project. So far I have really enjoyed it! :D
Deletegood to keep a track on budgets and goals it helps alot
ReplyDeletei jumped upon this post just when i was browsing some shops and "needed" to buy a lot of new things. i need to start such project myself. and i love this reward system most, what i would love even more if i was rewarded with somebody's else's money :)))
