The Legend of Zelda Series: Princess Zelda (Wind Waker)

Greetings from the Dark Side!

This next The Legend of Zelda inspired look is Princess Zelda from Wind Waker. Wind Waker has more animated, cartoonish graphics so Zelda looks much more colorful in this game than in most of the other games. I personally love Wind Waker. Sure, it's no Ocarina of Time, but it was a phenomenal game! My inspiration was the two tones of pinks in her dress, the cornflower blue in her dress,  the pastel blue on her eye lids, her blonde hair, and her gold accessories and gold triforce.

China Glaze Capital Colors: 'Harvest Moon'

Ah yes the very anticipated Capital Colors collection is here! I received the colors I ordered not that long ago, even though I had pre-ordered them. Harvest Moon was at the top of my list. It looked stunning! And I am very glad I bought it.

Price: Eh it kind of depends. I've seen these range from $3-$7
Color: Bright Metallic Copper. To me, it seems that it leans to the orange side.
Formula: Goes opaque in two coats, dries fairly quickly. It didn't stain my nails nor was it difficult to remove.

Excuse the dent. I was in a rush :O

Verdict
I think this is an outstanding color! It is copper, yes, but it is a very bright and very metallic copper! I love the name and the concept of this shade very much. The formula is workable and well, it is a stand out in the collection. I really have nothing to complain about with this one!

Rating: 10/10
I have a couple of other colors to swatch, and I will post them up in due time.
Will you be picking up any shades from this collection?

Top 5: Most Worn Nail Polishes

For all you who love to buy, collect, and use nail polishes, you know that it can be difficult to get a lot of use of ALL your nail polishes. I have quite a collection, although definitely not as many as most people. And although I love varying which nail polishes I use, I have a few that I always go back to. This isn't to say that these five are my FAVORITE nail polishes, not at all. These are simply colors that are easy to wear, no-fuss, and I know they will always look good on my nails. Here is my top 5 more worn nail polishes.

1. OPI Done Out in Deco
This was my first OPI nail polish and the beginning of my obsession with nail polishes. This is my third bottle.

China Glaze 'Flying Dragon'

Ah beautiful purple color ♥
Purple always makes me happy, and when I wear this on my nails, I am even happier!

Flying Dragon
A medium toned purple with slight pink undertones and really cool blue and red/pink glitter.

Formula

China Glaze could have made this an amazing polish. But, noooo, they screwed it up. In the bottle it looks simply amaziiiing! Then, when you put the first coat on your nails, you will be very disappointed. The first coat is really sheer and kind of gross looking. That is because this is a matte polish. 3 coats will deliver the best results. The glitter is really amazing, but the matte finish really minimizes the effect of the glitters. That is why, I prefer to add two coats of a top coat. The top coat will make the polish shiny, and it will also make the glitter more prominent. This polish would have been so much better if it was not matte.

Overall, I love this color. I just wished that it wasn't matte.

What do you guys think?

Haul and Review: Head2ToeBeauty Nail polish

Hello everyone :) I hope everyone is doing well. I just got over a terrible...um, sickness? I had a fever and a sore throat, and as quickly as it came, it was gone. How mysterious...

This is an over due nail polish haul from Head2Toe Beauty. This website sells China Glaze, Color, Club, Misa, Orly, Essie, and Creative nail polishes. All of these are discounted, except for Essie, which are still $8 on the site. I have been wanting to buy some China Glaze and Color Club polishes for a while, so I found this site and just went crazy and bought a whole bunch of polishes.

Price and Availability:
China Glaze: $2.99 each
Color Club:$3.00 each
Misa:$3.75
As you can see, they are somewhat cheaper than retail price by about $2-$3. The only problem is that the most popular nail polishes might be sold out. The China Glaze Crackle collection, for example, sold out almost immediately.

Shipping Price:
Shipping was expensive to say the least. I believe for me it was $12.22. I did purchase 16 nail polishes though, and I think shipping is still about $10 regardless of how much you purchase. So yes, shipping is quite expensive, so I do not recommend you buy from here unless you are buying a lot of polishes. For me, it was worth it because I cannot buy Color Club or Misa polishes anywhere around where I live, so regardless I have to pay for shipping.

Company Review:
I had a really awesome experience with this company, and I will share my story with you. I purchased these nail polishes, and the total was $62. It was shipped with UPS, who delivered the package to my front porch. Or according to the UPS tracking, anyways. I never received my package, even though the tracking said it was delivered to my door. I emailed Head2Toe Beauty, and they replied saying that they would make an inquiry at UPS. It took a while, but eventually they sent me a new package, which I received with no problems.Shipping time was about 3 days. I am really grateful that they sent me a second package, because many companies will not do that. They were super helpful, patient, and very polite. I definitely recommend this website, it is risk free and you should be assured that you WILL get you package.

The products were well packaged too. They came in a big box with tons of those foam things, and the nail polishes came in smaller boxes. These are the boxes they came in:

I am very happy with the shipping and the packaging.

Products I Purchased
The fun part of course! The haul itself~
I purchased 2 Misa, 3 China Glaze, and 11 Color Club polishes. I went a little crazy with CC because I only owned 1 of their polishes and I absolutely love it.

 Non-Color Club polishes
~Misa:
[L to R]: 'Green with Envy' and 'It's You!'
These are the two Misa polishes I decided to buy. These are my very first Misa polishes, and one thing I really like about them is the shape and look of the bottle. One of my favorite bottles EVAR! They kind of remind me a little of Deborah Lippmann polishes.
Close up of 'It's You!'

~China Glaze:
[L to R]: 'Ingrid',  'Jitterbug', and  'Peachy Keen'
Three China Glaze polishes~ I have been meaning to buy these for a long time.

Color Club

 ~Holos:
[L to R]:'Wild at Heart', 'Worth the Risque',  'Revvvolution',  'Fashion Addict'
These are the holos I picked out. Very niiiice~

 ~Random:
[L to R]: 'Snakeskin','Ms.Hautie','De-Luxe-cious', 'Wild Orchid'
These are older colors that I have always wanted but never purchased:

~Alter Ego Collection:
No Flash [L to R]: 'Ulterior Motive',  'Alias',  'Alter Ego'

Flash [L to R]: 'Ulterior Motive',  'Alias',  'Alter Ego'
These are the polishes that caught my attention from the Alter Ego collection. I like all three!

Thank you all for reading, and I hope this was helpful :)

P.S
Hopefully I can swatch these soon. I haven't taken pictures of my nails because they broke and they look hideous. But they are a little better now, so I will start swatching.

Also, please enter my giveaway, if you have not yet done so~

NOTD: Periwinkle and Pink Sprinkles

I was in Rite Aid the other day and I found a new Sally Hansen polish that was really cute! It is a murky bluish clear base with ton of pink sprinkles. The cool thing is that I the pink sprinkles also have a green duochrome effect: the pink changes to green in certain angles. I also found an extremely racist lady outside Rite Aid...what a ray of sunshine she was [>_>].
I was so excited about using the polish, so I rushed home and I decided to put China Glaze 'Secret Periwinkle' as a base. I loved the concept of this blue and pink combo...but I don't think I like it very much. I don't know, its cute but I am not totally convinced yet.

I used China Glaze 'Secret Periwinkle' as a base.

Then I added the Sally Hansen 'Snappy Sprinkles'

I don't know if I like it...

Maybe I added too many sprinkles?
So I am not sure If I will be doing this mani again, it looks cute from far away, but from close up it looks ugly to me. Haha, I wanted to show you guys anyways. I would love your feedback on this look :)

China Glaze 'IDK'

みんなさん、今晩は![Good Afternoon everyone!]
How was your week? Mine has been a little insane. My friend is turning 20 on Tuesday and we are planning a party for her and it is so difficult! I never plan parties so I find it kind of hard. But I am hoping she will be happy since all her friends are going! Anyways...

I am sure many of you have heard of the China Glaze holographic nail polishes before. There was a whole collection a while back. I managed to get one, in the color 'IDK'. 'IDK' is a beautiful light purple holo. It is very light, almost like a silverish purple. The pictures will speak for themselves. Its a real shame that these polishes are so hard to find, and that they are usually they are expensive :(

Formula
Do you ever get polishes that are amazing in color but the formula sucks ass? Well this is definitely NOT the case. The formula is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G~ It could not be better. It is opaque and it dries fast. It is not thick or watery. A perfect consistency, if I do say so myself. In the pictures I am only wearing ONE coat. That is all. And it looks completely opaque and the holo effect is captured beautifully. What more can you ask for? Nothing, that's what.

Price and Availability
Err..this is hard to say.I got mine from a good friend who did not like the color on her nails. There are some places online you might find these, and the price will depend on the seller.

Swatches
Nice, right?
