Review: NYX Powder Blushes

Well hello my darlings~

"Oh no, not again?" Why yes, I do have some new blushes ^_^ If you have read my blog before, you might know that I am obsessed with blush! It is my #1 makeup obsession. And this spring, it is all about the corals and the peaches! I have wanted to try NYX blushes for a long time, and I finally picked up two.

I purchased the colors: 'Peach' and 'Cinnamon'

"What colors might they be?" Well, dear reader, I will show you. Follow me into magical blush land *~*

'Peach': Is well...a peach color. Well, a pinky peach. It is a nice, light, very wearable peachy pink. Or is it pinky peach? Well I would say there is more pink than peach, at least on my skin.
'Cinnamon': Is a bright apricot orange. It is must less bright than I expected though. Online, it looks quite scary. But in person, it looks much more wearable.

Price:   $6 each, retail. You can sometimes find them cheaper though. You can purchase these at Ulta, Cherry Culture, or the NYX website.

Product Review:
These are super smooth, and seem to last a very long time on the cheeks. Although, you might have a different experience with these, because all blushes last all day one me. Maybe it is because I am fair skinned? I'm not quite sure, but in any case, these do not fade. I love NYX packaging, although it is a bit flimsy. I don't know what else to say. These are amazing. I love them, and I want to catch them all!!
[Thank God there isn't like 600 of them. I can't say the same for Pokemon though...Seriously, who wants to catch more than 600 Pokemon???]

Swatches:

And you know what i just noticed? These two colors are veeeery similar to my Majolica Majorca limited edition blushes which I purchased not too long ago. Dupes? Perhaps.
Bear in mind that the lighting is different, and that the quality of the picture above sucks.
But in person, they are really similar, almost the same.

Well, what do you think? Would you want to add these to your blush collection?

  1. Ooh I kinda like that orange, but I'm super fair so I dunno how that would look on me, I might just end up looking crazy... and I would like to catch over 600 Pokemon. XD
