Review: Flower Cosmetics 'Foxy Browns' Eyeshadow Quad

Greetings from the Dark Side!~

Here is the climactic end to the Flower Cosmetics quad reviews. If you read the reviews for the 'Blue Lagoons' and 'Smoke and Mirrors' quads, you know that I really disliked both of them. Will 'Foxy Browns' be better? Or, will is be equally as terrible? Read more to find out ^_~

                                                                        Product Information

Product:
  Eyeshadow Quad in 'Foxy Browns'
Brand:
  Flower Cosmetics
Price:
 $9.98 exclusively at Walmart
Packaging:
The eyeshadows come in a sleek and cute compact that has magnetic closure. The compact is white and has a flower-esque shape.
Color:
The quad includes: a shimmery pale pink, a shimmery golden brown, a shimmery taupe-brown, and a dark satin cocoa brown.
Texture/Finish:
The pink and tupe-brown are very shimmery, almost frosty. The golden brown has is shimmery but not as shimmery as the two above. The dark brown has a semi-matte texture and finish.
Pigmentation:
The pigmentation is pretty good, much better than of the 'Blue Lagoons' and 'Smoke and Mirrors' quads.
Application:
Overall, the application was pretty good. The two shimmery shades (pink and taupe-brown) have considerable fallout.
Wear (comfort):
The eyeshadows, although shimmery, have a matte-like texture and they feel like matte shadows on my eye lids. They feel just a tad dry and powdery.
Wear (time):
These wore so much better than the other two quads!
Dupes? Similar products?:

I honestly do not have much to say about this besides that it was not as terrible as the other two quads. The quality was slightly better, but not outstanding either. I wouldn't wholly dismiss this palette because it could be good for someone who wants something simple. But, I also think that there are many other great simple palettes out there that are better.

My main issue with this is that two of the colors have a lot of fallout, a trend that I have noticed amongst all the other quads. I hate that they have SO much fallout. It is not even just a little bit of fallout, it is like a freaking blizzard of eyeshadow particles. It is really irritating.

                                                                             Verdict

Out of the three Flower Cosmetics eyeshadow quads I tried, this is definitely the best. The pigmentation is a lot better and the application is a lot easier. Two of the colors though have terrible fallout and, personally, that cannot be overlooked. If you were to pick up one of these quads, I would suggest the 'Foxy Browns' because it is so foxxxxxy~ Well, at least the colors don't dissapear from your eyes in seconds like the other two quads or that the colors turn to completely other colors once applied!

  7. It's a shame none of these quads worked. I feel less dissapointed we don't get them in the uk now though.

  8. I was also hoping that this one would be the one that worked well because I loved the colors so much, maybe I'll save my money and buy a few of the wet and wild palettes instead.
