Tutorial: Thanksgiving in Summer

Greetings from the Dark Side!

Today I have this look which, aside from my foundation, was done using only drugstore products~! Very cheap drugstore products at that!Maybe it is just me, but the colors are quite reminiscent of Thanksgiving. Either ways, I hope you enjoy ^_^

                                                                         Products Used

-ELF Eyelid Primer
-Prestige Total Intensity black eyeliner
-NYC Individual Eyes 'Union Square' Palette
-Jessie's Girl Eye Dust 'Sparkle Gold'
-Rimmel GlamEyes liquid liner
-NYC Show Time mascara
-Ardell Lashes #116

-Kat Von D Lock It Foundation
-Maybelline Baby Lips 'Grape Vine'

                                                                                 Tutorial

1. As usual, start this look by applying an eye primer.

2. Use a black eyeliner as a base for this look. Messily apply the eyeliner and blend it out. It does not have to be perfect at all!

3. With a flat brush, apply a bright gold on the lid (Jessie's Girl 'Sparkle Dust). You do not have to make this color very bright or pigmented just yet, this merely serves as guideline for the rest of the crease colors.

4. With a crease brush, apply a light matte brown (NYC Palette) on the crease . This will serve as a blending color.

5. With the same crease brush, apply a matte cranberry shade (NYC Palette) on the crease. Blend it in with the matte brown.

6. Apply a black eyeliner on the waterline.

7. With a small brush, apply a bronze color (NYC Palette) on the lower lash line.

8. Now, go back in with the gold and pack on the color for a vibrant splash of gold!

9. Finish it all off with liquid liner, mascara, and lashes!

  4. You make cranberry & gold work so much better than my attempt! I used half baked + gash from Urban Decay but couldn't get it as vibrant/contrasted as you do lol
