FOTD: Red Calamity (Ft. Shiro Cosmetics)

Greetings from the Dark Side!

When I am really busy, I don't have time to make complex eye looks. But that does not mean I cannot make something bright and fun. I love using bright eyeshadows as eyeliners with black eyeliner rimming my lash line. I really like to do this because it emphasizes the shape of my eyes, adds a bright pop of color, and it only takes a minute or so. In this case I used a reddish orange eyeshadow to show you that you can use this shade and pull it off for the day time.

  1. Oh that's pretty!! It's a less in-your-face way to wear bold colors, and so perfect for me :P I love buying bold colors b/c they look pretty, but never have the guts to wear them. I'll try it your way next time!

  2. Really pretty! I want to play around with my pigments as liners more often. Part of me kinda wishes I got the Shiro Jan. COTM. Caitlin's always making more and more gorgeous shades, though. Love your hair, too! :)

  3. So pretty, and such a good way to wear bright colours for everyday or if you prefer a subtle look. I might have to try something like this soon, I keep forgetting about subtleness with colours >.<

  4. This is so pretty Nancy! I used to always use eyeshadow as eyeliner because I liked how it looked more soft, but I haven't done that in a while!

  5. So pretty! Sometimes all you need is a liner and sparkle.

  6. oh i like it! i have a lot of bold colors but i don't like to apply them all over my lid. this is a great way to use them!
