Greetings from the Dark Side ^_^
One of my goals for this year is to have my makeup more organized. I have had makeup products all over my room with no proper organization. Last week I finally managed to organize most of my lip and face products into one drawer. This week's challenge was to organize most of my eyeshadows in one drawers, so I will show you how that went.
These first two photos are BEFORE shots. I had so much crap in these drawers it is not even funny! I had skin care products, cotton pads, my deodorant (O_o")...I don't know how all this came to be in the same drawer...
And I think the most random thing in this drawer...umeshu (Plum Wine). Why the heck is there alcoholic beverages in my makeup drawer???! I don't know!
After A LOT of cleaning, I managed to make this drawer decently organized.
In these little plastic drawers I keep most of my indie makeup. I have Fyrinnae, Victorian Disco Cosmetics, Shiro Cosmetics, Glamour Doll Eyes, Pumpkin & Poppy, Unbound Eden Cosmetics, and Aromaleigh. I am just showing you the top two drawers.
As you can see, I don't keep eyeliners, primers, mascaras, or most of my MAC paint pots/Maybelline Color Tattoos in this drawer. I keep all that stuff on a separate plastic drawer that also has all my Lime Crime eyeshadows/eyeliners. Why? Because they are products I use very often and so I keep them on the desk I sit on when I do my makeup. :)
What do you think? It is a pretty big difference, right?
oooh I see you use P&P too :)
ReplyDeleteYes! I LOVE P&P~ :)
DeleteA huge difference! Well done Nancy ;) xx
ReplyDeleteThank you!
Deletewhoaa, i'm impressed!
ReplyDeletetheres lots lots lots of eye make up thingy.. so envyyy~
i love to collect e/s too, but i've just realized i dont need that amount of e/s so i'm selling some of them, to get my money back *LOL
I thin eyeshadow is the one thing I use most than anything else. I do have A LOT more than I need, that is for certain!
Deleteyou have allot , saw some great goodies
ReplyDelete:)
Deletegreat job :)
ReplyDeleteThanks~
DeleteThis looks great Nancy! I need to reorganize too, but first I need to invest in better storage!
ReplyDeleteYeah, a storage space will make it so much easier to organize. That is why it has taken me so long to organize my makeup to begin with.
DeleteIt looks very neat after you are done. The problem I have with my organization is keeping them neat cause as I go through them, I make a mess again, lol.
ReplyDeleteThat is so true. I try to put everything back in its place, but hopefully I will be able to keep things organized!
DeleteLOL @ the umeshu in there :) It looks nicely organized now
ReplyDeleteRight? That is really weird thing to have in a makeup drawer!
Delete:)
do you happen to have rock orange loose glitter sample from MAC?
ReplyDeleteI don't. I don't own any full-size MAC glitters, although one of my friends gave me a sample of a different glitter.
Deletenot just the sample
DeleteI think you might be referring to the two MAC pigments I own. They are not glitter, just loose pigments. If that is to what you mean, I have Melon and Partylicious pigments from MAC.
Delete*jealous*
ReplyDeleteI really need to organise my make up drawer. I need to get hold of some storage bits for it first though, mind if I ask where you get yours?
I bought the containers at Walmart, but I'm sure you could find them in many stores :D
DeleteThat is so true! And I find that I reach for different products now that I can easily see all my products.
ReplyDeleteReally organized =) love it!

ReplyDeleteI know! I am such a hoarder!
DeleteLooks good, all neat and tidy. I love those little drawers with all the indie tubs... yummy.
ReplyDeleteGood job on the organizing
ReplyDeleteThe 'Before & After' pics - such a difference! XP
Hope this makes finding certain make-up products easier for when you need them :)
