Greetings from the Dark Side!
I thought I would re-do the EOTD look I did yesterday. Not only because a lovely reader requested it, but because I am also still testing out the new Pumpkin & Poppy Little Black Dress collection. So here is a little re-do with a short picture tutorial.
Products Used
-Lime Crime Eyeshadow Helper
-Pumpkin & Poppy 'Beauty Sleep' cream eyeshadow (lid)
-Pumpkin & Poppy 'Divinely Happy' cream eyeshadow (outer corner and lower lash line)
-Pumpkin & Poppy 'Lula Mae' podwer eyeshadow (crease)
-Pumpkin & Poppy 'Little Black Dress' cream liner
-Maybelline Mega Plush mascara
Tutorial
1. On a primed eye, apply 'Beauty Sleep' (aqua blue with a golden sheen) on the lid and blend it out well.
2. With a small brush, apply a small amount of 'Divinely Happy' (cement grey) on the outer V and lower lash line.
3. Go back and pat on more of 'Beauty Sleep' until you have the desired opacity.
4. With a angled or liner brush, apply 'Little
Back Dress' cream black line on the lash line.
Back Dress' cream black line on the lash line.
5. Apply a little of Lulu Mae (dirty peach color) on the crease.
6. Apply mascara.
Below is the current look versus the first EOTD I made. Do you see an improvement? Definitely use a primer with the cream eyeshadows. And if you want to make the color more vibrant, you can apply a second layer or top it off with a powder eyeshadow.
love the makeup! nice :)

Yeah well I personally think that the blue cream eyeshadow is not best used alone, but as a base. In this I just used two layers of the cream eyeshadow but it would probably look better used under a blue eyeshadow.
ReplyDeleteThis is so pretty! I love the way you did your winged liner, too. It looks so perfect! x
ReplyDeleteYou really look fab with an awesome thick liner like this!
