Greetings from the Dark Side!
Let's continue with the 2013 favorites! I'm sure you are all sick of seeing these posts by now, but stick with me here. The following are my favorite lip products for 2013. Some of these products were released during the year and some are older products that I just happened to absolutely love during 2013. Keep reading for more!
1. Smith's Rosebud Salve
I've used this stuff for a few years now, but it is still my favorite lip balm for night time. Just slather it on before you go to sleep and you'll wake up with super soft lips!
2. Maybelline Baby Lips Dr. Rescue 'Berry Soft'
I don't really like the Baby Lips balms, but the new Dr. Rescue line is amazing. They are actually moisturizing and the colors are very pretty. 'Berry Soft' looks like a gorgeous mauve lipstick on my lips! I love it.
Best sheer grape lipstick ever! It looks very gothic, yet soft because it is slightly sheer. I love purple-toned lippies and this was my favorite of the year.
I am obsessed with this red lipstick. It is so pigmented and it stays put all freaking day. One of the best red lippies of 2013!
Armani really gets lipsticks right. This one is a liquid lipstick that is velvety, pigmented, and stays on the lips all day. Very similar to Lip Tars but better IMO. I love this product so much!
The lig gloss version of the lipstick, this 'Riri Woo' is also super pigmented and beautiful. It is a little sticky, but it has an awesome red jelly look. Love how it looks on its own!
Another amazing red lippie of 2013. This is similar to 'Riri Woo' but less dry and a bit deeper in color. It goes on really smooth and stays on the lips all day unless you eat.Revlon got the matte balms so right!
L'oreal lacquer balms were much better than the Revlon ones (except I don't care for the smell of this at all), and by favorite shade was this purple-toned pink. It is really pigmented and slightly glossy. If this didn't have such a strong scent it would be even better~
9. MAC Lip Pencil 'Magenta'
I don't really like lip pencils, but this one by MAC is fantastic for purple lipsticks! I use it under colors like 'Lacquer-ized'. It is a really great base for any purple lipstick.
This is seriously the most perfect summer lipstick. This bright coral lipstick is smooth and so youthful. I want it to be spring/summer so I can wear the shit out of this lipstick.
11. Maybelline Vivids 'Orange Edge' (and other shades from the Vivids line)
The Vivids lipsticks from Maybelline are some of the best bright lipsticks in the drugstore. They are pigmented and super colorful. 'Orange Edge' is one of my favorites because I love orange lipsticks and it is really hard to find a truly bright orange. This one is definitely bright and affordable!

haha i'm the opposite with baby lips! i love the original ones but the dr rescue ones i'm not a huge fan of. they seem to irritate my lips more! =/
ReplyDeletei really should repurchase the rosebud salve. Some people think its nothing but it really is a miracle worker!
