Swatches + First Impression: Sephora Jasmine Collection Storylook Vol. 2

Greetings from the Dark Side! :)

I wasn't expecting too much from this palette, as I mainly bought it as a collector's item. But I am really impressed! Most of the colors are really pigmented, smooth, and absolutely beautiful! The blush and bronzer are super pretty and really amazing as well.

Blue Oasis was the only color I really had a problem with. It is sheer and a bit patchy. Lapis was a tiny bit powdery, but only because I over-applied it. If you blend it out well, it won't be powdery (it is a matte shade so that is why it can look a bit powdery). Ali Ababwa looks sheer, but is just very close to my skin color and is great as a matte higlighter. All the other shades are stunning! My favorites are: Trust Me, Cosmic, Mystical Wonder, Lapis, and Arabian Sunset.

I think this is worth the $55 if you like Disney/Aladdin. It is both a great collectible and a useful eyeshadow palette.

Which colors do you like the most?

  1. So pretty! I do not need any more palettes but I want this just because of the shadow shade "Rajah". We named our cat after the character and I guess I'm a crazy cat lady haha.

    Thanks for the review!

  3. I love the look of this palette, shattered that we don't have Sephora here >< I loved Aladdin and Jasmine when I was growing up, I think Sephora have chosen some great shades to mix in this palette. That blush is a stunner, too.
