Review

I was pleasantly surprised by the pigmentation of these eyeshadows. They are all either shimmery or metallic, so matte-lovers beware! But, for those of you who love shine and sparkle, well then this should be a product to consider. Most of the colors are very pigmented and go on as pigmented as they swatch. The two greens and the blue are particularly gorgeous!

Two things that I did not like about this product are the texture and the smell. The shadows have a talc smell that I really do not like. Obviously, you won't smell them when you apply it on your eyes, but just opening the palette is awful because I can smell it! The texture of these is both good and bad. They feel very buttery rather than powdery which is good since it makes them more pigmented. But, this texture also makes it difficult to blend the eyeshadows, so you will have to work a little harder to blend these really good.

The blushes are...meh. They are okay, but somewhat powdery. They are nothing too special in my opinion.

Overall, I really like the colors and the pigmentation of the colors. Would I purchase this with my own money? Well the price is not bad at all, and it is actually quite a bargain for the colors. Be wary of the smell and the possibility that you might have trouble blending the eyeshadows.

  1. Such great pigmentation for the price!
The talc smell would bother me, but I am sure that I could look past it!

  2. I actually think the blushes look like the perfect color (I love dolly pinks), sucks that you didn't really care for this palette, it looked very tempting.

  3. This palette reminds me SO much of the urban decay black palette from a couple years ago... And comparing the price + what you get here i seems like a way better value (although I do love my black palette)

  4. well, the blending issue sucks, but they're just so shimmery! I'm a sucker for shimmery shadows. Plus the price is perfect haha. Never heard of this brand. May have to check it out. Great review!
